The Wall Magazine Competition, orchestrated by the Department of Basic Sciences & Humanities, serves as a pivotal platform designed to enrich the cognitive perspectives of first-year students enrolled in the B. Tech program. This initiative is crafted to extend learning beyond the conventional classroom setting, leveraging the power of group activities to impart positive impacts on students in multifaceted ways. The Wall Magazine competition for first-year students is a recurring event that offers a platform to exhibit their artistic and literary skills, enabling them to display their abilities while contributing to their personal and academic growth.
The competition is conducted among the first-year B.Tech. classes at RSET. Each class has an editorial team, managing the wall magazine activity of their class. The editorial teams are headed by the Staff Editorial Team (two faculty members) to scrutinise the contents in the wall magazine. To evaluate the performance of each class, a judging panel of two faculty members are formed. The judging panel will evaluate the performance based on a rubric already set by the Staff Editorial Team.
