Rajagiri School of Engineering & Technology (Autonomous), Kochi is offering a new certificate course - Nanocomposites: From Laboratory Concept to High-End Applications by the Department of Basic Sciences & Humanities. The main objective of this course is to enable the students to acquire knowledge in the concepts of nanocomposites for engineering applications. This certificate course is mainly for the students pursuing B.Tech. in Mechanical, Civil, Electronics and Communication, Chemical, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering & B.Sc. Chemistry, faculty members of engineering institutions, research scholars and post graduate students & practicing engineers from industry. The course will be in online mode for a time period of 18 hrs. It will be a great opportunity for the graduate students to enrich their ideas on research projects in the field of nanocomposites as the course is going to be handled by experts from the field. Interested students will get a chance to do a mini-project on synthesis and characterization of a nanocomposite after the successful completion of the course.
