Urban mobility is a major part of urban economics and is crucial in defining the ?Quality of Life (QoL).? Quality of Life (QoL) is a multidimensional paradigm and is demarcated as the degree to which essential values and needs of current and future generations are fulfilled based on an individual's desire and aspirations. Different dimensions of QoL include the physical environment, health, social interaction, personal growth, material living conditions, and transportation. The transport system is one of the main pillars of QoL as it fulfills the basic needs by providing access to carry out essential daily activities. The transport system plays an active part in enhancing the well-being and achieving higher QoL of the people. This presentation will present outcomes of some of the past and ongoing studies at IISc Sustainable Transportation Lab (IST Lab.), connecting various aspects of sustainable transport and QoL
