Description
Cup of Life is a massive campaign to create awareness regarding an environment and pocket friendly menstrual hygiene product - menstrual cup - and to distribute 1 lakh menstrual cups on August 31st 2022, in Ernakulam District. RSET, as part of its social and environmental commitment has taken keen interest in this event with a total of 925 registrations from the students and staff, who have expressed interest in receiving this product.

Menstrual cups are a sustainable solution to the environmental pollution caused by12 billion tonnes of sanitary napkin waste generated in India, annually. In addition, the campaign tries to destigmatise discussion surrounding concepts such as menstruation, virginity and female sexuality and thereby empowering women.
