Description
The STTP aims at imparting knowledge on the basic principles of OBE and its successful implementation, to the teaching fraternity in technical institutions. Outcome-Based Education (OBE) is a student-centric teaching-learning process. In OBE every programme has well laid down Programme Education Objectives (PEO), Programme Outcomes (PO) and Course Outcomes (CO).

Need
The ardent practice of OBE has become mandatory for the accreditation of technical institutions and their programmes. Also, OBE leads to improvement in the quality of education as it gives strong emphasis on measurable parameters and on the achievement of higher-order learning skills viz., innovation, creativity, ability to analyse data, organise tasks etc. among students.
