DEEKSHARAMBHAM 2024 - LIVE

First year classes for B.Tech (2024 admissions) will begin on August 31, 2024 with the course initiation ceremony, Deeksharambham 2024
Holy Mass will be celebrated at Chavara Hall, Rajagiri Campus, Kakkanad at 8.30 a.m. Those who are attending the mass are requested to be seated in Chavara Hall before 8.20 p.m.
For Official Programme:

Reporting Time: 8.45 a.m.

Reporting Venue: K.E. Block, Rajagiri Campus, Kakkanad

Participation is mandatory.
Kindly plan to arrive at the campus ahead of time to avoid heavy traffic and possible roadblock due to Kochi Metro Phase II roadworks.
Students should be accompanied by their parents/guardians – only two adults. Please refer to the registration process for further details
Students should bring a pen and a stamp size photograph (for temporary ID card). Kindly avoid bringing college bags and other belongings.
Students are requested to wear uniform for the programme.
There will be an orientation programme for parents after the official programme to provide parents with important information. Hence, parents/guardians are requested to attend the programme on August 31, 2024.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR REGISTRATION

All students must register their names and the details of any accompanying persons through the provided Google Form.
The registration is compulsory for both students and parents/guardians who will be attending the event.

Please complete the registration by filling out the Google Form using the following link (Please refer the video for registration process)

Ensure that all details, including the names and contact information of accompanying persons, are accurately entered.

Once you have successfully completed the registration process, entry tickets with QR code for the accompanying persons will be sent to the registered email IDs before 30th August 2024.
Each ticket will include a specific seat number assigned to the accompanying person. Please ensure that the ticket is brought to the event, as it will be required for entry and seating.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

Class timings – 8.30 a.m. to 4.15 p.m. Mondays to Fridays.
Till uniforms are available, boys shall wear shirt and trousers/jeans, and girls to wear salwar kameez/kurti with pants/jeans, and shawl/stole. Formal footwear.

NOTE: T-shirts, distressed jeans, leggings, sleeveless tops are not permitted.

Details of textbooks and record books will be provided by the course teachers once classes begin.
The Induction Programme (102909/CO100I) as per 2023 BTech Curriculum for semester I will be held from September 2 to September 11, 2024. The course assessment will be conducted on the last day of the programme.
Tech students are required to purchase Non-programmable Scientific Calculator Model – CASIO FX 991ES/ 991 MS / 991 CW.
