It gives me great privilege to welcome you to be a part of the thriving Electrical Engineering department and become change makers of the future.

Our department has a rich tradition of imparting high-quality teaching, developing the capability to apply knowledge of Electrical Engineering to work efficiently in multidisciplinary teams.

Our department offers science-based engineering curriculum in order to develop the students with a balance of intellectual and practical experiences. The department also focuses to inculcate in students, a professional and ethical attitude, effective communication skill, teamwork and multidisciplinary approach thereby preparing students for a successful career in Industry, research and academics to meet the needs of growing technology. We are committed not only to pursue academic excellence but also to motivate its students to be lifelong learners, critical thinkers, and productive members of an ever-changing global society.

Apart from the regular curriculum the department strives to develop additional skills through add on courses in upcoming areas and software applications. The department conducts various programs under the department association ‘Eluxtra’ such as Workshops, Technical Training, Project-expo, Guest Lectures and Seminars by Experts from Industry and Academic background for constant knowledge up-gradation with the state of the art.  Industrial visits and Internships are promoted to improve the practical knowledge of the students and to build collaboration with the outside world

Our department maintains active research groups for carrying out collaborative and interdisciplinary research. We have state of the art lab facilities to support our academic programs and research which enable the students to have hands on experience individually. The department is well supported by qualified and dedicated faculty and the technical supporting staff is unique in its own way.

I strongly believe in upholding high standards with an absolute commitment to strive to understand and improve the educational process, using team strategies, while centering on holistic development.
