CSI- student branch of RSET was established in 2009 with 130 members. Currently, the branch has 255 members with an objective to inculcate professionalism into the students of CS and IT. The main purpose of this branch is to strengthen the technological improvement in the field of computer science, computer engineering and technology, and information processing/technology. This promote professional meet to exchange views & information and share ideas.
SB regularly conducts professional meetings and exchange views and information among them. Branch organizes various technical meetings, presentations, symposium, technical competitions, workshops on latest technical trends etc.  The branch has organized annual student convention twice in this span of time. Digital college, Idea presentation, mini project exhibition are some of the events that are thought provoking competitions conducted under the branch.
