Apptronics is the student association of the Department of Applied Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering, RSET. The organization assists students in networking with industry professionals, collaborating with peers, and organizing technical activities that aid in professional growth.
Several events were organized by the department association, including invited lecturers, Alumni interactions, workshops, design project expos and Main Project Exhibition etc. The association releases a news bulletin once a year called “Apptronics Review” which includes newsletters featuring technical articles, a summary of the department activities and achievements of students of AEI.

The department is also associated with the International Society of Automation (ISA) and the Instrument Society of India (ISOI).
INTERNATIONAL SOCIETY OF AUTOMATION (ISA)
The International Society of Automation (ISA) is a non-profit professional association of engineers, technicians, and management engaged in industrial automation. As the globally trusted provider of foundational standards-based technical resources for the profession, ISA strives to build a better world through automation.
The International Society of Automation (ISA) student section for Rajagiri School of Engineering and Technology (RSET) was established in April 2022, and is sponsored by the ISA Bangalore section.

INSTRUMENT SOCIETY OF INDIA (ISOI)
ISOI is the only Indian official society for Process Control and Instrumentation engineers.
The meeting of Instrumentation Society of India, Kochi Chapter is conducted regularly at RSET, with participation of senior officials from the Industry and Academia. The student chapter of ISOI organizes Seminar competition on Instrumentation and Process Control as well as project exhibition.
