BRANCH ASSOCIATION
Established in 2013, the Mechanical Engineering Association 'REAL MECHANICA' is led by the Association Chairperson and advised by two faculty members. The association regularly conducts various technical events and publishes an annual technical magazine called 'MECHAZINE', which features articles contributed by students, faculty members, and alumni about the latest developments in Mechanical Engineering. In addition, the association publishes yearly newsletters named 'NEWSMECHERS' that showcase the activities and achievements that take place in the Mechanical Engineering Department.
Objectives:
- To support students of the Mechanical Engineering Department to expand their skills by organizing various events.
- To build up leadership and managerial skills among students.
- To act as an interface between the students and the faculty and strive for excellence of the students as well as the department.
- To maintain contact with alumni, who are key position holders in industry and explore these contacts in getting internships and placements for the students.
Types of activities conducted:
- Publish yearly technical magazine 'MECHAZINE' and Dept. newsletter ‘NEWSMECHERS’.
