Ms Anitha Varghese completed her B. Tech from TKM College of Engineering, Kollam and her M.Tech from the Department of Ship Technology, CUSAT in Computer Aided Structural Analysis & Design. She is a chartered engineer and a member of the Institute of Engineers and Indian Concrete Institute. She has six years of experience as Guest Lecturer in CUSAT and RSET; and has been working as Assistant Professor in RSET since 2010. She also has two years of industrial experience as Assistant Engineer in Asian Techs Public Ltd, Cochin. Her area of academic interest is related to Finite Element Analysis of Transmission Line Towers.

She is involved in Rejuvenation of Polluted Rivers in Kerala, a project under Irrigation Department, Govt. of Kerala and has submitted a detailed project report on “Abatement of Pollution of Chitrapuzha River”. A project guided by her has also received IDEA grant worth Rs. 2 Lakhs from Kerala Start Up Mission
