The Add-on course on “Fundamentals of Space Technology and Applications” organized by Department of Basic Sciences and Humanities, RSET for B.Tech S5 students will commence on Saturday, 19th August 2024. 

Objective of the course: The objective of this course is to provide a comprehensive introduction to the principles of space technology, satellite systems, and their real-world applications. Through engaging lectures and hands-on sessions using industry-standard tools like GMAT (General Mission Analysis Tool) and SDR (Software-Defined Radio), students will gain practical skills in orbital mechanics, satellite communication, and mission design. This course is ideal for engineering students who wish to explore the exciting field of space technology and its impact on various industries.
