At no time in modern history has energy played a more crucial role in the development and well being of nations than at present. The source and nature of energy, the security of supply and the equity of distribution, the environmental impact of its supply and utilization, are all crucial matters to be addressed by suppliers, consumers, governments, industry, academia, and financial institutions. The purpose of the workshop on Green Energy Technologies is to bring together researchers, engineers and practitioners from all over the world, interested in the advances of renewable energy sources, energy and electrical drives.

An International Workshop on Green Energy Technologies (IWGET) will be held as a part of International Conference on Eco-friendly Computing and Communication Systems (ICECCS) which is being held at RSET, Cochin this year from 9th August to 11th August 2012. The workshop provides the most relevant opportunity to bring together students, researchers and practitioners from both academia and industry. The conference will include a peer reviewed programme of technical sessions.

 Submission Information:

 Technical papers describing original, previously unpublished results are solicited in the above areas or related areas of green energy technologies. Authors are invited to submit papers through Easychair Conference Management System (https://www.easychair.org/account/signin.cgi?conf=iceccs20120).

The selected papers of the  IWGET workshop will be published by Springer.

Both regular (8 pages) and short (4 pages) papers for oral presentations are accepted. The regular papers may be extended up to a maximum of 10 pages, where a page charge of $30 per page (INR 1000 per page for Indian authors) would be levied for the additional pages beyond the regular limit of 8 pages.
