The function of the committee is to look into the complaints lodged by any student and determine their merit. Anyone with a genuine grievance may approach the committee members in person or through the Student Council. Grievances may also be sent through e-mail to the Chairman of SGRC or can be registered in the online grievance redressal portal available in Rajagiri Students Management System. The committee then redresses the grievances promptly and judiciously. Objectives
A Grievance Redressal Committee is constituted for the redressal of the problems reported by the students of the College with the following objectives:
Upholding the dignity of the College by ensuring a strife free atmosphere in the College through promoting cordial student-student relationships, student-teacher relationships, etc.
Encouraging students to record their complaints and solve their problems related to academics, resources and personal grievances freely and frankly without any fear of victimization.
A suggestion/complaint box is installed in front of the library in which the students, who wish to remain anonymous, may drop in their grievances and their suggestions for improving the academics/administration in the College.
Ragging, in any form, is strictly prohibited both inside and outside the institution. Any violation of ragging or disciplinary rules should be urgently brought to the notice of the Principal.
Complaints regarding harassment of women will be handled as per government guidelines by the Internal Complaint Committee of RSET.
